CLIMART-UP 4th International Conference on Natural Hazards & Infrastructure (ICONHIC 2026) in Chania, Greece

We were proud to present “CLIMART-UP: Climate-Adaptive Retrofitting Technologies for Resilient Urban Pavements” at the 4th International Conference on Natural Hazards & Infrastructure (ICONHIC 2026) in Chania, Greece.

Our vision is to transform conventional urban pavements into multifunctional climate-adaptive infrastructure capable of reducing urban heat, mitigating stormwater runoff, extending pavement service life, and supporting smarter infrastructure management through digital decision-support.

This presentation introduced the overall vision of the project and our first research developments, opening valuable discussions with the international resilience community.
